Visual Search
Locating design elements from the drawings stored within a company network is a real challenge today. The ability to discover relevant objects instantly from large amounts of drawings built over years can significantly increase the profitability of new and existing engineering projects. It can help sales managers improve the quality of proposals, estimators provide better appraisals and engineers re-use existing objects in new designs.

Visual Search empowers engineering organizations with design information at their fingertips. Once seamlessly deployed in the existing network infrastructure, Visual Search server allows to locate objects instantly from millions of designs. The server constantly monitors configured network shared folders for any changes and keep search information up-to-date for accurate results.

Integration with world’s most popular CAD software AutoCAD, AutoCAD LT* and their vertical software such as AutoCAD Electrical, Civil 3D and Map boosts productivity of CAD engineers instantly. Traditionally, design elements are discovered by zooming and panning within the drawing, but with Visual Search, navigate directly to any object of interest.

The ability to export search results into an industry standard comma separated text (CSV) file enables printing and processing of results in other software programs; software developers can automate drawing corrections such as fixing broken external references (XREFs) or globally replacing text in the selected drawings on the network.
